  2. CESA #9 Ed Tech Consortium • Shared purpose of increasing the effective use of technology for better teaching and learning • To enrich the work outlined in required district technology plans and ESEA professional development plans • To align student-centered needs to generate program outomes

  3. Shared Purpose • ANT,AVW, ELC, LdF, LUHS, MER, MHLT, MOS, NL, NP, PH, PREN, RH, TL, TOM • Participate in Grant Planning and Implementation • Support data gathering on needs and impact • CESA #9 Staff facilitate grant project

  4. Enriching District Work • Initiatives around standards • Student, Teacher, Administrators • Increasing student achievement • What do students need to improve? • Professional Development on new technologies • What are local priorities?

  5. Student-centered • The Consortium aligns the program with specific student learning targets • Reading comprehension and writing • Inquiry-based research • Organizing and presenting information • Creating technology-rich products

  6. Educational Perspective • Student, Environment, Task, and Technology (SETT) • Technology as a tool for learning essential concepts • You can integrate technology ineffectively • Best practices in instruction and in professional development are keystones to the Ed Tech Grant Program

  9. Keystones- Quality Prof Dev • Training on instruction and technology • Ongoing collaboration and learning (e.g. Ning) • Dissemination of project work with peers • Evidence-based reflection on professional growth and impact on student learning • Allocation of resources on incentives
