Your Family Can Pray It is pretty hard to navigate around the Richmond/Sugar Land area without seeing prison property, so if it hasn’t happened already, a time will come when your child has questions about who is there and why they are there. Help your child learn, as they are ready to do so, that God’s love is for everyone. Jesus teaches us to care for the marginalized, and this includes the prisoners!

  12. Your Family Can Pray As we draw closer to the Advent Season, we’ll be suggesting various ways your family can be more engaged in caring for the marginalized. Here is a great way to start: every time you drive by prison property, while you are together in the car, say a family pray for those who live there.

  13. Your Family Can Pray Prayer: Dear God, thank you that you have plans for every single person on this earth. I pray for you to encourage those in prison and show them that you love them. Amen I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11
