Near Future RT seismic stations for the CTWS There will still be gaps in RT seismic coverage from Cuba (communications), Colombia (no available stations), Haiti (PRSN working with the OAS for 1 or 2 stations), Venezuela (MOU required) and UNAM, Mexico (limited contact/participation in CTWS).

Still to do … Seismic networks concentrated on epicentral locations and magnitude estimations in their own regions No formal mechanism for the exchange of data. (CTWC is an important initiative) Little interest for scientific collaboration with neighboring operators/scientists Many networks focused only on locations. Need to develop other products for societal benefit
