  2. Our Answer… • Government • World Hunger • Medical Aid • Income/Taxes

  3. Government: Less than one percent of what the world spend every year on weapons was needed to put every child into school by the year 200 and yet it didn’t happen.

  4. World Hunger • About 20,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes • 400 million have no access to safe water

  5. Medical Aid • 270 million have no access to health services. • 2.2 million children die each year because they are not immunized • Over eleven million children die each year from preventable causes like malaria, diarrhea, and pneumonia.

  6. Income/Taxes • 640 million people live with no adequate shelter. • The world has enough money, resources, and technology to end global poverty forever. • Over 1.2 billion people live on less than one dollar per day.
