Program Overview • May 28 – June 15, 2013 • 40 hours per week • $1,440 stipend
Eligibility • STEM majors • CI and regional community college students • GPA 2.25 or above • Intermediate algebra • Some STEM coursework involving major • AB 540 students are eligible
Participation Guidelines • Attend daily • Closing Ceremony

FAQ’s • Freshman can apply if they’ve completed intermediate algebra and a few STEM courses • You do not have to submit a resume or job application • We don’t know which faculty members will be mentors. In the past, they were from Biology, Chemistry, Math, ESRM (Environmental Studies), Computer Science and Physics departments.
FAQ’s • You can cut and paste your personal statement into the application. • If you are bringing a car on campus you will be required to purchase a summer permit. A portion of your parking fee will be refunded at the end of the Summer Institute. A better choice than driving to campus is to use public transportation or carpool.
