GRB Informal Document GRB-43-2 • At the request of GRB, ISO has provided updated figures and test procedures to carry out the stationary test requirement of Regulation 51. • GRB has previously reviewed and approved technical changes in the stationary test to account for technical developments in engine protection. (Engine speed targets)

  3. GRB Informal Document GRB-43-2 • Regulation 51 Annex 3 paragraphs 3.2.3 and 3.2.5.3.1.6 are proposed to provide additional information regarding the location of the reference point for stationary measurements. • These drawings are necessary to accommodate the additional exhaust configurations in use.

  4. GRB Informal Document GRB-43-2 • Regulation 51 Annex 3 paragraphs 3.2.6 to 3.2.6.2 define the measurement and data processing required to obtain correct results. • These paragraphs are proposed to provide: 1) Repeatable and reproducible test results 2) Reduce the uncertainty associated with the stationary measurement results.
