Helmerich & Payne-John Lindsay-Ex VP • 45-50 students worked on rigs and in office last summer. • From 2007 to 2011 H&P has hired 12 full time engineer students-3 were from OU.  • Additional field positions available for those students that are willing to seek out employment and are ready to learn.  • H&P will continue the engineering intern program as it has delivered great value since we first instituted it in 1972. •  Of my ten man leadership team, eight of the ten roughnecked in the engineering intern program and the other two roughnecked right out of college.  There is no doubt the field experience pays off for students in the long run.
