22. Eligibility for Special Education Services
Parent or educator asks for an evaluation
If student is deemed eligible for services, the child’s “education team” develops an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and decides placement
23. Transition to Adulthood Planning for student’s transition to adult services begins at age 14
