Social and Politics (1) • “Internet is for Everyone”, Everywhere... • Social issues: • new hidden “information monopoly”? • is somebody “using” our technical achievements for unclear purposes? • We must provide not only “techies”, but also “cross-trained” people for business, especially within Security framework

Social and Politics (2) • Politics are “talking to us”: are we ready to ask sensible contributions? • Are we ready to make “Internet self governance” a globally accepted paradigm? • Governmental bodies are entering the stage: • positive: easier relationship - easier understanding • negative: high danger for the whole network way of life • Taking R&D networks @ home • Let’s convert from “implementers” to “developers”

  7. New Ideas & Applications (1) • “Content Delivery” networks • “Streaming” (Video, Audio, Data Processing)... • Will we ever elect our Parliament with e-votes? • Beyond Client-Server model: GRIDs • High Speed as a Seed for new Applications? • ... or vice versa?

  8. New Ideas & Applications (2) • New Communities • Think Different: connecting Mars to solve Africa connectivity problems? • Net Teaching: are we able to use the tool? • Internet “inside everything”: are we ready for IPv6? • It doesn’t even look like a Computer! But it’s an “Internet device” !
