  2. Anaconda • Anacondas live in still fresh water. • Anacondas eat capybara. • The anaconda looks like a caterpillar. • It is covered in scales. Keenan R.

Ankylosaurus • Ankylosaurus lived in the cretaceous period. • Ankylosaurus lived in the USA. • Ankylosaurus ate plants and leaves. • It had armor to protect itself from tyrannosaurus rex. • It hid its belly from tyrannosaurus rex so it would not get it from its belly and flip it over and eat it. • Its shield was as hard as 25 bricks. • It looked like a rusty car. • Ankylosaurus was really different from us in many ways. The students chose their own animals and wrote down notes about them from World Book Online, Kids’ Edition. • They typed their information into PowerPoint slides and chose a background color. • They added a picture from Microsoft Clip Art, or used Google to find a picture on the Internet. • Finally, they did a spell check and a reading check with Ms. Ewing, and she added their slide to the class’s virtual zoo.
