  2. Price of a 3D Ultrasound = Rs. 16,50,000 approx. Average ultrasound fee in Imphal (State Capital) = Rs. 2000 per ultrasound National Charitable Hospital (Moirang) = Rs. 600 per ultrasound Average no. of ultrasounds per month = 100 = Rs. 600x100 = Rs. 60,000 per month

Average income from the ultrasound machine = Rs. 60,000 a month Expenses (monthly): Ultrasound operator salary = Rs. 8,000 Ultrasound gel = Rs. 200 Printing media = Rs. 2,000 Regular maintenance = Rs. 4,800 Electricity = Rs. 5,000 Total = Rs.20,000 Net income from an ultrasound machine = 60,000 - 20,000 = Rs. 40,000 a month
