  2. C4000 Select 1. Is it available without the laser alignment tool? • No, the integrated laser and alignment bar graph system comes with every sender/receiver pair.

  3. C4000 Select 2. What options are available? • Integrated LED status indicator (available on the receiver only) • Extended I/O connection (top or bottom, sender and receiver)

Can the optional LED indicator be added or changed in the field? • No. There is an additional circuit board and another internal cable needed when utilizing the LED indicator so it is not a simple process that can be done in the field. • Replacement – If an LED fails, we do not allow customers to replace in the field due to lubricant application for the gasket and proper torque rating on the screws that are required to maintain the IP67 rating.

Is it available in resolutions other than30mm or in 6 inch increments? • Not at this time. • The C4000 Select was not designed to be the light curtain to solve every application but rather the light curtain that will solve the majority of the applications. • We have a complete portfolio of additional safety light curtains in the C4000 Family with additional resolutions, protective heights and more complex blanking features.

How do I get EDM or Manual Reset with only 5 available pins? • With only 5 available pins, if EDM and/or manual restart are required for the safety circuit then they need to be implemented externally • Available SICK solutions • UE48 safety relay • UE410 Flexi • UE4470 safety network controller
