  1. Micheal Jordan Micheal Jordan was of James and Deloris Jordan’s five children. The family moved to Wilmington , North Carolina when he was young. His father worked as a General Electric plant supervisor, and his mother worked at a bank. His parents strived far to keep him on the road to success. His father taught him to work hard and stay off the streets. Micheal’s mother taught him to cook, clean, and do laundry. Sports were in his heart but he failed to make his high school basketball team as a sophomore. Micheal worked hard on the off season and made the team the following year. Micheal’s father worked on as a General Electric plant supervisor. His mother worked at a bank. His father taught him to work hard and to stay off the streets.
