IPv6 Enabled IndoorPositioning System What is kio? • Accurate and low cost indoor positioning applications • kio is utilizing Ultra-wide band (UWB) radio communication technology and Time-of-Flight (ToF) • kio's positioning error is below 30cm/1feet • kio system contains of anchors for ToF triangulation, nodes for moving object, network border router and optional wireless network monitors • It is possible to achieve node ranging rate over 10Hz • Communication between radios is based on IEEE802.15.4-2011-UWB MAC standard supporting both ranging and IPv6 compliant data exchange
