  3. Academic Lab on 7C Ac. Lab is a 34 minute period which meets 4 times a week to connect with students. This year it is an opportunity for students to focus on integration of all subject areas. Students will review skills, makeup/enrichment time, and activities targeted to team and school goals and student needs. Fridays will be team focused with activities targeted to team and school goals and student needs.

  4. Attendance • When students miss a day, they miss a lot! • Regular attendance positively impacts student achievement. • We appreciate it if appointments and vacations can be scheduled outside of school times. • Students are expected to complete all assignments missed during absences. • Homework assignments may be requested during student absences as soon as possible.

  5. Homework Policy • Homework will be assigned by each teacher and varies from teacher to teacher. Math and English Language Arts is usually daily. • Check student’s agenda daily. • Homework is expected to be neat, legible, on time and complete. • Budget approximately 30 – 60 minutes per night. • Check the calendar on the team webpage.

  6. Team Webpage • Additional parent communication tool. • The Team webpage does not replace the agenda; it enhances greater organization. • Updates are often by each teacher; check often. • Here it is 7C

  7. Team Donations • Classroom supplies • Lined paper • Copy Paper (white and colored) • Hand Sanitizer • Tissue • Pencils and Erasers • Crayons , Colored Pencils, Markers • Team Rewards – 7Sea Checks • Parent Volunteers and Donations • Or Ac. Lab Teacher

Sea Checks As your child has probably already told you we have a team currency, 7Sea Checks.  These are used for a variety of things though the year.  One of which is our AUCTION at the end of each quarter.  The kids will get to use these items to bid on fun “prizes” at the end of each quarter.  However, we need prizes.  If you would like to either help out donate items please contact ASAP!  jasontodd@kyrene.org For our auction items we are looking for a variety of things that vary in cost.  Everything from nerf balls, to movie passes, to entertainment items, to little and big ‘toys’, to food coupons.

Kyrene and Tempe Union High School District Election on November 5,2013 • Be an informed voter and know the facts: • Asking voters to approve a continuation, not an increase, of the current Maintenance and Operations Overrides for each district. • A continuation will not increase the tax rate for property owners. • Need more information?
