Objectives of the Section • Promoting multiple criteria in decision making. • Promoting the development and application of Operations Research methods, techniques and tools in the Multiple Criteria Decision Making area. • Encouraging the exchange of information among researchers and users in the areas of multiple criteria decision making, including such topics as analytical hierarchy processes, decision analysis, goal programming, multiobjective evolutionary algorithms, multiobjective mathematical programming, and outranking methods. • Encouraging interest by practitioners and students in the Multiple Criteria Decision Making area. • Promoting the maintenance of high professional standards in the application of Management Sciences to the Multiple Criteria Decision Making area.
