Agenda • Review Objectives • Review Engagement Process Flow • Implementation Approach • High-Level Gantt Charts • Effort and Cost Estimates • Production Pilot Resource Plan • Scoping Assessment Deliverables • Proposed Next Steps • Questions and Answers
Scoping Assessment Engagement Objectives The primary objectives of the Scoping Assessment were to… • Provide you with an Implementation Cost Model including a Resource Plan that will enables you to do ‘What if’ analysis • Provide you with a high level implementation plan which compares and contrasts different implementation scenarios, presents a project organization chart, identifies the number and type of resources (internal and external), and discusses the cost model • Provide an understanding of the various implementation options and their impact on cost, time and quality.
Scoping Assessment Process Flow This is the process flow we used to do our scoping assessment over the last couple of weeks... Start* Build Cost Model Spreadsheet Gather inputs from Fit Gap, POC, AA, SMEs, Partner, etc Management Review and validation Meetings with Project Sponsor, BDMs and TDM to determine Implementation Options to Review Generate Implementation Plan Report Out Finish • * The Scoping Assessment process assumes that a Fit Gap & Solution Blueprint process (or some other process to determine configuration and customization effort) has been completed.
Proposed Implementation Approach Based on the inputs from the inputs from Fit/Gap, Solution Blueprint, and CRP, the recommended implementation approach is Production Pilot and Full Implementation (Phase 1) The conceptual steps for this approach are: • Production Pilot • Overall Solution Analysis & Design • Solution Build and Testing • Pilot Training • Go-live and Post Go-Live Support • Pilot Support and Stabilization • Pilot for specified Business Units to validate the solution • Support period with dedicated resources to address additional requirements and system issues • Full Implementation • Incorporate feedback into overall solution • Solution build of additional Phase 1 in-scope functionality “Could Haves” not piloted • Data Migration of contacts for isolated sources (from all Bus) • Training • Staged (Staggered) rollouts • Post Go-Live Warranty Support Period
High Level Gantt Charts The following Gantt charts illustrate conceptually how a deployment would work for a Pilot and Standard Implementation based deployment model: Production Pilot
High Level Gantt Charts Cont… Standard Implementation after Pilot
Effort and Cost Estimates The following is a chart that illustrates the deployment costs and effort estimate associated with a Pilot and Standard Implementation based deployment model: Production Pilot
Effort and Cost Estimates Standard Implementation after Pilot
Resource Plan – Production Pilot The following is a chart that illustrates the proposed allocation of project roles and responsibilities with a Pilot and Standard Implementation based deployment model....
Scoping Assessment Deliverables Before moving ahead with your planned implementation, it is important for you to validate the Cost Model and Implementation Plan to make sure you understand and are comfortable with the recommended plan.
Proposed Next Step The proposed next step from the Scoping Assessment is: • Go/No Go Project Decision • Go to Tender for Implementation Partners
