Terra Summary • Spacecraft Status - GREEN • Instrument Status - GREEN • ASTER: VNIR and SWIR nominal; SWIR ops ended 2008 • CERES: Operating Normally • MISR: Operating Normally • MODIS: Operating Normally • MOPITT: Operating Normally • Data Capture/L0 Processing Status – GREEN • SSR Data Capture over life of the mission: ~99.00 % • Ground Systems – System Upgrades in progress • Implementing system changes and new back-up control center • No planned interruptions to operations • Completion in Summer 2011
Terra Predicted Propellant Usage based on Nominal Solar Flux • Terra has sufficient propellant to maintain Mean Local Time (MLT) of 10:30am +/- 1 minute through 2017 • Terra can continue to operate through Summer of 2019 by allowing MLT to drift towards minimum MLT requirement of 10:15 am (established prior to launch)
Aqua Mission Summary • Spacecraft Status - GREEN • Instrument Status - GREEN • AMSR-E, AIRS, AMSU, CERES & MODIS: • Operations Nominal – Producing Great Science • HSB: Survival Mode since 2/5/2003 • Data Capture/L0 Processing Status – GREEN • SSR Data Capture to over life of the mission: ~99.97 % • Data Latency – Excellent • Ground Systems – System Upgrades in progress • Implementing system changes and new back-up control center • No planned interruptions to operations • Completion in Summer 2011
