BACKGROUND BACKGROUND MISSION Creating safe spaces that bring together the power of football and learning to empower youth and change lives. STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE By the end of 2022, AMANDLA will have provided 20,000 vulnerable children and youth in South Africa’s 10 largest and most violent township areas with access to 10 SAFE-HUBS of holistic learning and development through a four programme system focusing on health, violence prevention, education, and employability.

After-School Programmes: every week from Monday to Friday for girls and boys (8-19 Years) between 15h00 to 20h00. THE INAUGURAL SAFE-HUB IN KHAYELITSHA Night Programmes: To respond to high levels of crime a night league is implemented for young men (16-35 years) Friday and Saturday night from 20h00 to 00h00. Foundation of the AMANDLA Safe-Hub Model
