HIT Standards • Active nationally in EHR promotion and technical specifications development. • Appointed to CCHIT (Certification Commission for Health Information Technology), an organization tasked by HHS to establish EHR standards. CCHIT was awarded 7.5 million dollars in November 2005 to help fund the project. • Nominated to the HL7 Technical committee by members of CCHIT to serve as technical liaison. • Founding member of the EHRVA (Electronic Health Records Vendors Association). • Started CCR Acceleration Task Force, voting member ASTM E.31 for CCR • One of 5 Pilot sites for ELINCS (EHR lab interoperability and connectivity standards)
