I: Exit First, finish your exit for this unit --- What did you find surprising about the elements that are in our world? Think about the element cards you created and the circle graphs you drew…. 3 to 5 sentences. You must show this to Ms Hess before moving on to poster project.
II: Poster Project • Today we will be making a poster that creates a visual display identifying common elements in each of the 4 categories: • Earths’ Crust • Atmosphere • Oceans • Living Bodies
II: On Your Poster – sketch first!!! • Make a visual display that divides your poster into 4 categories and includes : • The definition for element and compound in the middle of the paper • Appropriate labels for each of the 4 categories • Each element listed by name and chemical symbol appropriately in each category • Appropriate decoration in each category box
