Simple Past Past Continuous Started 6 Am Started 6 Am Ended 6:30 Am The simple past tense describes actions or situations that began and ended in the past Two actions occurred at the same time, but one action began earlier and was in progress when the other action occurred. Ended 6:30 Am I ate breakfast today. At 6:15 today, I was eating breakfast. Maram Alabdulaaly
