School Improvement Summit Small Group Action Planning Saturday, April 28, 2012 12:30-3:30 Outcomes: By the end of this retreat, participants will have: • Presented their personal mission statement for the summit • Defined the topic/issue and created a goal/objective • Analyzed the available data and identified root causes • Completed a “Force Field Analysis” of the topic/issue • Created an action plan in order to address the preventers and drivers of the topic/issue in order to meet the goal

GOAL #5: Wilson High School scholars will attend school and individual classes on time. • Scholars will average a yearly daily attendance rate (ADA) of 94% or more • Documentation of excused absences • Data entry of excused absence • Truancy • Scholars will average a yearly in seat attendance (ISA) rate of 92% or more • Skipping classes • Authorized school activities • Scholars will be on time to school and classes • Tardy to school • Tardy to classes

  4. Force Field Analysis GOAL: Staff will attend school every day and report to their classes on time.
