Campus Europae has promoted foreign language teaching within the member universities as a cornerstone for Campus Europae student mobility • Hook up! is the first of an integrated language learning method
Campus Europae candidates do not need to know the language of the host university when they decide to go abroad • They can start learning the host university language at home with Hook up! - online language learning platform as soon as they decide to go abroad
Language Learning with Campus Europae • Campus Europae offers Hook up! throughout the year but is most useful as soon as a student decides to go abroad • Campus Europae offers intensive language courses in August/September • Most universities offer a blended learning module during the semester which combines face to face and online learning
When arriving at the host-university the student is expected to have at least an A1 level acquired with Hook up! • The intensive language course at the home-university before the start of the academic year is given at level A2 and higher since many universities require a B1 level • This is followed by semester courses enabling the student to reach B1 level during the 2nd semester.
