Data Quality • One Child = One Record • DQ = success of the IS Index. • Good DQ = accountability clearly assigned to one person - Data Protection Act 1998. • Accountable Body = LA will be assigned accountability for Children and Young People in their area. Applies to be IS Index & Local Sources (CMS)
Data Quality Poor quality data sources (i.e., existing systems and databases which will supply information to IS Index) create poor quality data in the IS Index. Therefore we have to establish a quality threshold against which all data sources have to pass. How? Now? Future? Targets? Other drivers? e.g. completeness of records, accuracy of address details Group work – 10 mins
