  2. Basic History • Born in Paris, November 6, 1969, and is now 50 years old. • Graduated from Reims Management School. • In 1997, Benbihy, joined an independent production company. Their first production was an international collection of 12 films; the collection was inspired by Parables coming from the New Testament in the Bible. • Emmanuel Benbihy is a feature length film producer who created and launched the Cities of Love franchise starting with “Paris, je t'aime” and more recently “New York, I Love You”.

  3. Cities of Love • Cities of Love is a collection of short films which illuminate the worldwide love in major cities all over the world. • Individually every episode is composed of no less than 10 short films, each created by a different director, compiled together to tell the diverse love which can be found in each city. • Segment’s story line is required to focus on an encounter which presents the hope of love and occurs in modern time. • Segments must also illustrate, strongly, the with the City of focus in the film. • Directors are to create their segments in a manner that the audience experiences the City in their own way. • Two films in the Cities of Love series have been produced: -Paris, je t'aime 2006 -New York I Love You 2009 • Next films in the series will be Shanghai, Rio de, Janeiro, Jerusalem, Venice, Berlin, and finally New Orleans.

Paris, je t'aime 2006 • In 2000 the idea of Paris, je t’aime was formed. • Involved 20 arrondissements, 20 directors, 20 love encounters • Production began in 2005, and had 24 different directors involved • Directors included: Coen Brothers, Alexander Payne, Gus Van Sant, Alfonso,Cuaron, Wes Craven, Walt Salles, and Tome Tykwer. • Stars included: Elijah Wood, Willem Dafoe, Natalie Portman, Nick Nolte, Gena Rolands, and Gerard Depardieu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81mJDgt-vYw Official Trailer

New york I Love you 2009 • Consisted of 11 short stories, each one directed by a different Director • Similar to Paris, je t’aime, the sort films all focused on stories of love, and featured one of the five sections of New York. • Directors included: Jiang Wen, Mira Nair, Shunji Iwai, Yvan Attal, Brett Ratner, Allen Hughes, Shwkar Kapur, Natalie Portman, Fatih Akin, Joshua Marston and Randy Balsmeyer. • Film stars included: Natalie Portman, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha, Hayden Christensen, Orlando Bloom, Ethan Hawke, Shia Labeouf, and Chris Cooper to name a few http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5katNrnYb8U Official Trailer

  6. Shanghai, I Love You • Shanghai, I Love You is currently still in production and will be released sometime in the near future. • The next city in the Cities of Love series will be Rio de.
