Have each computer on Main Page prior to class and click the LEARN button. Have Students complete the activity/video and practice following. Each activity is set up to complete in 3 different sessions After the first two activities (Shapes and Colors) are complete, have students take the Cumulative Quiz. (link is on the Main Page) After students complete and pass the Cumulative Quiz, print their final certificate and display somewhere in the classroom. Standards Objectives After completing the “Shapes” Activity, students will recognize and identify five basic shapes: square, rectangle, circle, triangle, and octagon. After completing the “Colors” Activity, students will recognize and identify ten basic colors: red, yellow, blue, green, purple, orange, pink, black, white, and brown. After completing the program, “Shapes and Colors,” in two sessions, students will pass the comprehensive “Cumulative Test” and recognize and identify the combinations of shapes and colors. Worksheets Evaluation After completing this activity, continue to quiz students, formally and informally, about their knowledge of shapes and colors. Do a project based on shapes and colors to give a more concrete foundation on what they just learned. Based on student’s knowledge before and after the activities are complete, decide how effective the program is and if you will continue to use it. Back to Links for Teachers
