  3. Christianity • Christians have the belief in one God and That Jesus Christ came to same them from their sins. They believe that he created everything in the universe. You can find all their beliefs in the bible from the Old and New Testament. • The Old Testament is a version of the Jewish Tanakh. • There are the Catholics and the Protestants. • Catholics were one of the first groups of Christians however in the middle ages Martian Luther created the Protestant reform were he broke away from the church and follow what you though the Christian creed should be. • http://www.mnsu.edu/emuseum/cultural/religion/ Back to Home Page

  5. Judaism • Judaism is one of the oldest single God religions. • They practice set of beliefs and practices originating in the Hebrew Bible, The Tanakh.   6. Hinduism • Hinduism is the worlds largest religion . It follows the teachings of what most people know today as Karma. • Hindus believe in more then one God. • This religion is based out of India. • Hinduism is formed of many traditions and has no single creator. • Their founding beliefs are written down in two different scriptures.   7. Buddhism • According to Buddhist, Buddhism is a path of salvation attained through insight into the ultimate nature of reality. • The teachings of Buddhism comes from a man know as Buddha. (The awakened one) • There are two branches of Buddhism.   8. Taoism • Taoism refers to a power which envelops, surrounds and flows through all things, living and non-living. The Tao regulates natural processes and nourishes balance in the Universe.
