Metagrid Project | mgdp labs Introductory remarks Metagrid Project offers a robust backend engine that is able to process large data volumes as well as a highly interactive frontend GUI for in-depth analysis of processed data. The backend engine, featuring multithreading computing and horizontal scaling over the server grid, can handle a throughput of (several) gigabytes of data as it is common in the securities trading industry. Our user applications, both desktop and web based, are powered by Rich Internet Application framework (RIA) and take advantage of advanced chart display technology. Screenshots shown here come from QAS:SAT-application for aggregated stock exchange data, supported by a High Capacity Spread Engine. Serves as an interactive user frontend for aggregated quote data and brings new quality to the analysis of large data volumes, usually based on SQL queries. Uses offline pre trade data, optimized for historical analysis and aggregated spread/volume information. It is able to communicate with a backend engine to retrieve ad-hoc computed data. Provides Cross Platform Portability. – by being available both as stand alone desktop application and a web based application over the web browser (QAS:SAT Lite).
