  2. Intro • Reconfigurable core network • A “Reconfigurable mobility management platform” is proposed • Expected to provide a new direction for the heterogeneous networks integration • Extension: • Previously, only MIP was used as macro-mobility protocol in RAMP • Now, SIP has been integrated

Mobility protocols • Macro-mobility management protocols: • Mobile IP • SIP-based Mobility • Micro-mobility management protocols: • HMIP : Hierarchical Mobile IP • HAWAII : Handoff-Aware Wireless Access Internet Infrastructure • FLIH : Fast Link Layer and Intra-Domain Handoffs for Mobile Internet
