SABOT • Uniforms
UNIFORMS for PATROL • Coxswain determines uniform to be worn by crew. • ODU (Operational Dress Uniform), Jump Suit and Hot Weather. • All Boat crew members must be in the same uniform. • PFDs and uniforms must be worn at all times while on board if signboards and flags are displayed. (Even if orders are not in force)
ODU • ODUs may be worn with: • Boots (deck shoes as an option). • Ball cap (wide brim sun hat “Tilly”) • In hot weather with the permission of the OIC or OOD the ODU blouse may be removed on patrol
HOT WEATHER • Hot weather uniform is allowed in 9ER during periods of hot weather but, remember, the entire crew must be in the same uniform. • Deck shoes and ball cap or Sun hat must be worn.
JUMP SUIT • Jump suit must only have collar insignias, name tape, and USCG AUXILIARY tape. A US Flag is also sewn on the left sleeve. • Deck shoes and ball cap or sun hat (Tilley) also to be worn
UNIFORMS • The image we should portray to the public represents the Coast Guard. Wear the proper uniform correctly. The public does not know the difference between the active duty and the Auxiliary.
