  4. Does this sound familiar? *I don’t have time to run a Fall Sale! *My girls are too busy! *It conflicts with other school fundraisers!

The troops earn 10% of online orders placed by October 28th. • For each girl that does one or both of the above items, your troop will earn an additional $1 pre girl. No Money to Collect! No Product to Deliver! Easy! Fast! Fun!

Girls may not begin selling until council has this form. Please fax, email or mail the form to your nearest Product Sales Manager. • Forms can be found in the Troop Training Manual or at http://www.gsmists.org/Get-Involved/resources • Bank Sweeps on Troop Bank Accounts will be on November 5th for Fall Product payments

  9. Accepting Checks Although we encourage Troops NOT to accept checks, we know that this might be unavoidable. Please follow this procedure: • Checks should be made payable to “Girl Scout Troop #___” and turned into the Troop Leader for depositing into Troop’s Account. Indicate the girl’s initials in the memo section so you can trace the check. • Be sure to write the signer’s Driver’s License # on the check • Council will cover bounced check fees only if checks are the original (legal) copy from the bank. Bounced checks will be accepted through November 30th only. VERY IMPORTANT! Once a bounced check is turned into council, we turn it into Collections. If you happen to collect money from the bounced check, notify council immediately and turn in payment directly to Council Payment for Fall Product and QSP Magazines will be due at the time the order is placed by the customer. If payment is not received, then the order will not be processed.
