What are the concepts elaborated in ILTM and how long is it and which of these is the lengthiest?
ILTM encompasses concepts of pedagogy, project based learning as well technology so that all of them together go hand in hand. It consists of 85 hours of material
Some of the concepts in the ILTM are the following: • MI • CT • BBM • CL • CT
Thick server thin client – In this model, a computer acts as a server and other dummy computers work with the help of this server. It is cost efficient
This approach is followed in DE lite models. The no. of hours and the frequency of days that a cluster coordinator spends in a particular school comes down. • For e.g. A coordinator who used to visit one school once a week for 6 hours now does so once a month for maybe 2 hrs. His role shifts from giving training to establishing dialogue with the head, looking after the infrastructure and simply monitoring the program
What is the difference between a classical model and centralized model of DE?
The difference between the 2 is that in a classical model, AIF coordinators go to the schools to give training to teachers where as in a centralized model, these teachers come to a central place to get trained. This model is working in Delhi, Orissa and Punjab and in Coimbatore (TN)
There were studies conducted by external agencies to measure the effectiveness of the DE programWhich were these 2 agencies and in which states were these conducted. What was the inference of these studies?
A study was conducted by ERU (Educational Resource Unit) in 60 schools of Andhra Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan, Orissa. • A study was conducted by IMRB (Indian Market Research Bureau) in 2009 in 110 schools of Punjab.
How many schools are there under • FSC • LSP
