  8. From dropdown, choose MeSHsearch “type 2 diabetes mellitus”

  9. Mapped to heading “Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2”click heading name for subheadings….

  10. -check subheadings “drug therapy”, “diet therapy”-click Add to Search Builder-put cursor in top search bar, type “exercise” & click Search:

  11. -check Exercise heading-click Add to Search Builder-click Search PubMed:

  12. Results-note Filters stayed active-consider Pacifico et al; Ismail-Beigi et al

  13. Select OMIM from dropdownclick Search

  14. OMIM is the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man database

  15. Search “diabetes”

  16. Choose %222100

  17. OMIM results on a gene
