  21. <h2>The College of Medicine Celebrates its Fiftieth Anniversary</h2>

  22. <p>Join us for a year long celebration of the College of Medicine’s history and its future as a leader in education, research

  23. and clinical care. Its continuing tradition, which originated in the careful planning and attention to detail by its founders,

  24. honors vision and innovation in all aspects of the College’s three-fold mission. The celebrations will highlight the College’s

  25. administrative leadership, its alumni, current students, research initiatives, and its supporters. These celebrations will also

  26. showcase the College’s expansion and development, with celebrations featuring completion of new facilities including the

  27. Cancer/Genetics Institute, and the Proton Beam Facility in Jacksonville. </p>

  28. <p>This web page will cover all of these events over the

  29. course of 2006, so stay tuned for new photos, posters, and additions.</p>
