How Did Saturn Get Its Rings? By: Carson Bowlin
How Did Saturn Get its Rings? Saturn's rings formed when comets/asteroids hit the planet. Saturn has very strong gravity so that’s how the comets/asteroids hit the planet. The comets/asteroids kept colliding with each other and spread out around the whole planet of Saturn. These eventually formed Saturn's rings. The rings are said to be so young so if we were to be living at a different time we wouldn’t be able to see the rings. They are very young compared to how old the solar system is.
