  9. Around this time and date we looking for new shape white Nissan Qashqai in relation to an armed robbery offender/s. This vehicle was seen from behind on Alcester Road south, Kings Heath, called in to service desk for checks and identified, if I recall correctly as a rental car. The vehicle was followed on to Wheelers Lane and prior to us stopping it the driver pulled over.  (Subject), well known to police was driving. The vehicle was emitting a strong smell of cannabis (more than a normal spliff smell) and (Subject), vehicle and front seat passenger searched under the MDA 71. The subject could not be seen prior to the stop, we were unable to identify if it was a male or female driving.

  10. Oasis Log 1912 (19/10/14) refers NPAS51 was airborne over Rubery, they called up an emergency incident as they saw a vehicle being driven erratically - this car was then "dropped" in haste on the car park to the Royal Legion and 2 males were seen to walk away, before getting into another vehicle and driving off. I attended the car park and located the vehicle which was insecure - the passenger side window was open - I could see a ladies handbag on the back seat - the vehicle was a hire car. I formed the belief that the handbag was likely to be stolen property - this was due to the fact 2 males had been seen to leave the vehicle in suspicious circumstances.

  11. It was call from a resident saying that drugs were being smoked in the car.....we turned up and there was a smell of drugs (cannabis) so we searched..... (Log No 1008 of 10/09/14 – anonymous call giving vehicle registration and details, stating that occupants were drug dealing)

  12. Our NHT were receiving regular emails & complaints from people/ neighbours in the locality stating that (Subject), his girlfriend & another lad were dealing from the car in both Meadfoot Ave & Marsham Road. We stopped them at the junction of both Roads, where ***** walked away on seeing us (later to return). (Subject) immediately became aggressive, which was possibly to give ***** time to get rid of whatever he had. We had done two successful Warrants at *****’s home address nearby in Marsham Rd, one of them was not long before this search (£500 worth of cannabis located). *****, however had still continued to deal openly. I also had previous knowledge that all three had been arrested elsewhere in another car that they had been using whilst in possession of drugs. We searched (Subject) & his girlfriend but both were negative. Unfortunately we were unable to catch hold of ***** at this time, who had returned home to collect his Bull terrier.

  13. Person searched was found to have been borrowing tools from the garden shed with the permission of the householder. (Log 2202 of 05/09/14 refers.)
