HOW TO RECERTIFY AS AN OFFICIAL. CHANGES TO PPGO – EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2013. Referee before May 1, 2013 and served as a Meet Referee for a USA-S meet at least once since 2009 short course season is certified as Meet Referee All other Referees are now certified as Deck Referee

CHANGES TO PPGO – EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2013 • Referee before May 1, 2013 and served as a Meet Referee for a USA-S meet at least once since 2009 short course season is certified as Meet Referee • All other Referees are now certified as Deck Referee • Starters or S&T who were also certified Admin Referee are now certified Starter or S&T and Admin Official • Admin Referees are now Admin Officials • Referees who were also certified Admin Referee • If Meet Referee, then remain an Admin Referee • If Deck Referee, then changed to Admin Official
S&T AND STARTER RECERTIFICATION • Maintain USA-S and STSI Membership • Renew BGC every 2 years • Renew APT every year • Take appropriate test or attend clinic • Work 10 sessions per year (half must be USA-S) • Trainee sessions do not count • If also certified as Admin Official, then half must be in Admin Official capacity to maintain Admin Official certification
DECK REFEREE RECERTIFICATION • Maintain USA-S and STSI Membership • Renew BGC every 2 years • Renew APT every year • Take appropriate test or attend clinic • Work 12 sessions per year (half must be USA-S) • Trainee sessions do not count • If also certified as Admin Official, then half must be in Admin Official capacity to maintain Admin Official certification
MEET REFEREE RECERTIFICATION • Maintain USA-S and STSI Membership • Renew BGC every 2 years • Renew APT every year • Take appropriate test or attend clinic • Work 12 sessions per year (half must be USA-S) • 4 Sessions as a Meet Referee • 8 Sessions in any wet side capacity • Apprentice sessions do not count • If also certified as Admin Referee: • 4 sessions as a Meet Referee • 4 sessions as an Admin Referee • 4 sessions in any wet side capacity
ADMIN OFFICIAL RECERTIFICATION • Maintain USA-S and STSI Membership • Renew BGC every 2 years • Renew APT every year • Take appropriate test or attend clinic • Work 6 sessions per year (half must be USA-S) • At least 3 meets • Trainee sessions do not count • High School Dual Meets do not count
