  1. L. C. Kerr Media Center Rules What we expect from our patrons.

  2. 1. Be Respectful of Others Be careful not to disturb those who are having class, doing research, or having conferences in the media center. Use kind words and actions towards others. Be helpful and courteous.

  3. 2. Stay Quiet Speak or read aloud only when necessary. Use a whisper voice. Keep the volume of computers and other technological equipment turned down.

  4. 3. Walk Use walking feet to travel throughout the media center. Other forms of movement may create unwanted noise and dangers to yourself and others.

  5. 4. Keep Bookshelves Neat and Orderly Books should be placed on their correct shelf. *AR Fiction books should be placed on the shelf that matches the AR level on the spine of the book. *All Non-Fiction books should be placed on the cart. Books should be standing with the spine turned out and sticker at the bottom.

  6. 5. Have Your Book and Folder Ready To check-in: Have the book turned on the back and scan the L.C. Kerr School barcode. Look for your name on the computer screen after you hear the beep. To check-out: Have your folder turned so the librarian can scan your name and barcode. Books should be turned on the back with the L.C. Kerr School barcode showing.
