Governor established statewide Task Force on Public Safety Technology Public Safety Needs Assessment (Phase I) Task Force authored a Framework for Technology Integration (Phase II) Big three agencies on board (DPSCS, MSP, JIS) HB 1265 establishes a State Commission of Public Safety Technology Criminal Justice Information Advisory Board establishes 5 subcommittees (Technology, Telecommunications, Policy and Standards, Records Assessment, and Security) Action Items Establish technical standards and business processes that support sharing of information (Define Data Exchange Points ) Design infrastructure that supports this information sharing and interoperable communication capabilities near-term and strategically Develop detailed implementation plan and design the technology infrastructure (Phase III) Seek funding & execute implementation plan (Phase IV) Update on MIIJIS ProgramMARYLAND INTEGRATED INTER-AGENCY JUSTICE INFORMATION SYSTEM 5/23/02
