Learning Community Growth School-Wide Focus: • Student Growth will occur, over time, in Higher Order Thinking/Complex Problem Solving as measured by the Hess Cognitive Rigor Matrix of Webb’s Depths of Knowledge/Bloom’s Taxonomy and/or other models of the continuum of higher order thinking and student understanding. • Evidence of teacher lesson design and student work samples • Evidence from lesson and unit homework assignments • Evidence from open houses and parent conferences • Evidence from classroom-based formative and summative assessments • Evidence from standardized assessments

  7. ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines At the end of Grade 8, all French students will take the AAPPL test, to measure their language proficiency level.

  9. Benchmarks • Three Writing benchmarks will be given in order to monitor each student’s progress. • First Writing benchmark was given in September • French teachers: meeting in data teams to gather information to guide instructional practices
