Pink-E-Pie’s Play Palace, Inc. June 2014 Infant News Ms. Melissa Summer is upon us and we will be going outside to play as much as weather permits in our new infant yard! We will also have a lot of water play, where we will practice making big splashes and little splashes. We also have a special Father’s Day gift that we will be making for our dads! June 2014 National Donut Day- 6th Flag Day-14th Father’s Day-15th Ice Cream Soda Day-20th First Day of 21st! • What’s Happening? • We are excited to spread the word that Pink-E-Pie’s is stepping up in the technology world! We are now offering a way for parents to pay with debit/credit cards. Mrs. Robin is the one who will be able to run your card through a PayPal system on her phone. We understand how some families do not always have time to run to a bank or right out a check, so we hope this makes life just a little more simpler for you! • Summer is right around the corner and so is the sometimes dangerous heat and UV-rays. If you would like us to apply sunscreen to your child, please bring in a labeled bottle. We will make sure to offer plenty of water and shade to your little one to help protect them this summer! • Our playground is almost finished and is looking awesome!! We are working on the final details and our splash pad and we are so happy of the progress that has been made. We hope you take some time to check it out and let us know what you think!! • June Birthdays • Teagan 6th • Ella 22nd • Alynna 25th • Selah 27th • Parents- • We will celebrate all children’s birthdays on June 13th so that no child • is forgotten. We will provide cupcakes for the center and your child will go home with a fake tattoo and balloon animal. If you wish to bring something on that Friday, you are more than welcome! • We are still offering the computer parenting classes. We want to remind you that the first family to complete the first 5 chapters will get a $50 Visa gift card! We have a few families that has already started.
Toddler News • Ms. Desirae • For the month of June, Toddlers will begin working on the summer curriculum that involves learning about the beach, ocean, and marine life animals! We will search for seashells, learn about fresh and salt water, and make it a summer full of watery fun! Watermelon Slushies' Ingredients: 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon 10 ice cubes 1/3 cup fresh lime juice 1/4 cup white sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt Blend all ingredients together in a blender and ENJOY! This helps us keep track for billing and food servicing purposes. • Please report any changes to addresses and or phone numbers for home, cell and work. • Please remember that your child’s artwork can be viewed in their art portfolio, located in the lobby. Preschool News Ms. Alexandria This month, preschoolers will be discussing the evolution of dinosaurs, the things they eat, how they lived, and so on. We will have fun activities like building and watching a volcano erupt, and have a Friday where all kids can wear their favorite dinosaur shirt. Watch for the sign on the door that lets you know the exact Friday. Ms. Heather will also be bringing a ton of dinosaur books from her personal collection. So we will be doing a lot of summer reading this month! It should be super fun and filled with excitement!
