Viewing Active Sites Only Open the project, expand Groups and right-click on Totalphase1and2 andselect view to select only the active sites
Right-click on the screen and select Layer Control to de-select SiteFile and the terrain and clutter • You can get a road map for the background by opening the following file: Users/NSN-Natee/MapInfo Layers/Vectors/(vad.tab, mdd.tab, DCWASHd.tab) depending on the city • Search for the candidate Setting up your Workspace
Creating Groups • You need to create 3 groups if you are preparing a High Rent Justification • With candidate • Without candidate • With Baseline (Initial Design) candidate • Create a group, select the sites using marquee select and right click on the group and select Add selected Sectors and Repeaters (shown on next slide)
Reclassing Clutter File • SelectGridMgr ToolsReclass Numeric • Create a .grdand set all the class values to 5 except for Urban, Core Urban, Commercial Industrial and Airport. These four should be set to 0. Choose the color as shown in the screen shot. Then save the file as market_delta5db.
Define and Run Network Analyses [1/4] Right Click LTE Analyses->New to add an analysis Click Next button for Sector Selection. Make sure the site group is selected properly. Give any appropriate name
Define and Run Network Analyses [2/4] Run indoor and outdoor analysis separately
Define and Run Network Analyses [3/4] Use the combined area of selected prediction option Use 25m resolution
Default Settings • Go to LTE Analysis -> New -> Add the following layers. • To save time, you can select only the desired layers. In LS project, the following layers are needed • Best Server • RSRP • Downlink C/(N+I)
Define and Run Network Analyses [4/4] Finally, at page Final Step click Finish button to execute the network analysis
RSRP Plot (1/3) Note: the box for Z-unit has to be checked for each numerical grid used by grid calculator Using grid calculator to add RSRP indoor and Delta5dB and get a new grid called RSRP_indoor_105.grd • Open Indoor RSRP file in the Project Explorer to view it in the Grid Manager list • Go to “Info” on the Grid Manager and Check “Use the closest node Value” • Go to Analysis -> Calculator -> Add the RSRP indoor file & Delta5db.grd. Click ok (shown on next slide) • Save the .grd file in the RSRP folder as RSRP_indoor_105.grd Presentation / Author / Date
RSRP Plot (2/3) Highlight the RSRP_105.grd file and click on Color (from previous slide) Load the appropriate legend
Grid Manager Make sure you select this for all your .grd files Once the analysis is run, click on each of the Analysis Layers (i.e. RSRP, Best Server, Downlink CINR) in the project explorer so that it shows up on the grid manager
Creating BS2 Using the Grid Mgr Analysis Grid Query, create a grid where RSRP >=-105dBm and DL CNIR is >= -2.5dB.
Creating BS2 Create a Classified Grid. When true “Get value from” Best Server. When false use NULL. Name the resulting grid BS2 and press Finish.
Calculating the Pops Stats Open Analysis Layer Statistics. Select AOI as analysis area. PresBS2s Add Layer and locate the grid file. Check Use Traffic and locate the traffic map created. Press “Calculate Statistics.”
Pops Report by Sector Add pops data from sectors of the same site to get pops/site
