What I owe to Danziger • XXVIth ICP (1996) in Montreal • My final presentation of animal experiments • Feeling affinities with his experience with animal study… • Wundt’s reevaluation • My first step to the HoP was involved with Wundt and physiologischePsychologieencouraged by Danziger (1979) etc • Resulted in a chapter in Rieber & Robinson (eds) Wilhelm Wundt in History (2001) -> same book! • Wundt lead me to ISHN, Cheiron & ESHHS

Personal memories cont’d. • Naming the Mind (1997) • Introduced it to some members of a small study group derived from larger society of mind sciences（心の科学の基礎論研究会？） • Eventually resulted in publishing its Japanese translation in 2005 (2 vols.) • Textbook in my graduate lectures at TIU and Senshu since 2003 • Description of his experience in Indonesia shadows us • Disconnection from the long past beginning with Aristotle
