  1. Tsum Valley is Unique for Trekking in Nepal Tsum Valley is unique and popular trekking in Nepal. Tsum valley is located in north part of the Gorkha district in Manaslu region. The name of this valley came from Tibetan word Tsombo, which means vivacious. Tsum valley is opened in 2008 for foreign trekkers; this valley is getting popularity according to its religious aspect and natural beauty. This trek gives typical taste of the cultural remote villages in Manaslu region. The valley represents its history with Tibetan artistic monasteries, Mani walls and stupas garnished the entire Tsum valley. Trekking to Tsum valley is famous trail; which leads in Tibetan origin in Nepal and for being the place where Mileripa an important figure of Buddhism was said to have meditated in several of the caves. People in the Tsum Valley are mostly from Tibetan origin and have their own language. Sincerely spiritual, the locals are mostly followers of Guru Padmasambhava. They welcome visitors with traditional Tibetan tea, which is made by butter and salt tastes completely different to regular Chiya. Polyandry is still can experienced among the locals who rejoice festivals like Dhachyang, Losar (New Year), Saka Dawa (month to abstain from sins), and many others festivals. Tsum Valley has been able to sustain its unique culture that is the reasons why must visit Tsum Valley. Tsum valley is newly opened trekking destination in Manaslu region. Valley is surrounded by Buddha Himal Himal Chuli, Ganesh Himal, and Sringi Himal. The trek begins with a day long drive from Kathmandu to Arughat. Gorkha is the home of warrior and connected through Gorkha Bazaar, Trishuli Bazaar and Dhading Besi. The trail then moves to the north the valley of the Buddhi Gandaki River towards Philim through wild and unexplored village mainly inhabited by Gurung community. On your way to Philim, your eye will be witness of several waterfalls and listening birds chirping sound for your friend as you walk into the rhododendron forest. Lokpa is the first village you pass after reaching the valley of Tsum. Dhoban, Lamagaun, Burji, Chule, Nile, Dhumje are other villages, that you will come across on your trekking. Mu Gompa, the largest monastery in the area, Rachen Gumba and Gumba Lungdang, the oldest nunnery in the valley are major attraction of this valley. Although, Mu Gompa is placed at the upper point in the Valley, the nunnery is a grouping of sixteen houses, the main building of which houses wall painting of many Buddhist deities and human size statue of Guru Padmasambhav, Yara and Buddha. Another attraction, Kyimo Lung is a famous pilgrimage route in the middle Trans- Himalaya, well known seat of knowledge and meditation. The circuit passes through across Tsum Valley and southern parts of Tibet. It is not an easy task to trek in higher region, while trekking in Nepal. Trekkers must face some difficulties in higher and remote region. Walking at Himalayan region is always challenging, because trekkers must move through difficulties.   2. Another major problem is altitude sickness in higher elevation; trekker must concern about their health condition, you must ask to your guide, how to avoid altitude sickness? At higher region air will be thin so, breathe taking problem will be the obstacle of this trek. In Tsum valley traveler can’t get luxurious accommodation, here home stay facility is the major accommodation for this trek but now a day some lodge are built for trekkers. During the trekking season in Nepal it is difficult to find accommodation but no need to worry the local people will arrange alternative for travelers. Sometimes trail will destroyed by flood and land slide but it will maintained by local people as soon as possible.
