Trekking is one of the most popular touristic activity in Nepal and this is the reason why 1,000’s of trekkers visit Nepal in high season.

Also known as Poon Hill Sunrise Trek, it takes 3 – 7 days to complete this trek. As it is averagely high altitude trek in Nepal, you have to conscious about what to pack and not to pack during the trek. As the trekking routes to Ghorepani Poon Hill is well-developed, you don’t have to pack all the things. • Unless you are hiring a Sherpa/Porter, we suggest you to pack light as you will be carrying all your belongings all the day. Your backpack should weight more than 4 kg. • The packing list below is based 3 night 4 days hike. At some teahouses, they have fire pits and you can hand wash & dry your clothes.
Underwear (just in case you may forget!) • 3 – 4 shirts • 2 pairs of pants • 1 pair of comfortable pants to wear at the end of day • 3 – 4 shirts • 1 pair of shorts (if you are uncomfortable with trouser) • 4 pairs of warm socks • Comfortable hiking shoes • Long sleeve shirt • Waterproof and windproof shoes • Poncho
Water bottle and purifier • UV protected sunglasses and hat • Sleeping Bag Liner (Teahouse along the trekking routes provides blankets but for extra warmth and cleanliness you can prefer to sleep with these) • First aid Kit (Kit must include ibuprofen, band-aids, Imodium, sunscreen, plaster and bandage) • Toilet paper and hand sanitizer • Bug spray • Camera with extra batteries and memories • Local currency (as the money exchange and ATMs are not available along the trekking route) • Kindle • Plastic bag for wet clothes • Books for leisure time • Snacks (you can buy your favorite snacks, chocolate bars and biscuits in Kathmandu and Pokhara)
