Exercise Scenario • Simulated aircraft crash at approach of RWY 24L (on engine run-up pad) • Exercise anticipated start time is 0900 • Emergency Responders may stage on North Marginal Road 45-minutes prior to exercise if desired • Agencies must wait until they’re notified to respond
Exercise Scenario- Live Fire • A live-fire aircraft simulator will be used at the exercise for the first time • ARFF will begin respond and initiate fire attack on the simulator • CFD will establish water re-supply to the ARFF vehicle
Communications: MARCS • MTAC Channels utilized as necessary

Gate-3 • Parking at gate-3 for: • All EOC members (report to main conference room) • ARES • Red Cross Friends & Family • Designated Gold Coat Ambassador’s
Staging: Gate-5 • All emergency responders report to Gate-5: Landmark Aviation entrance for staging and await escort to scene unless otherwise directed • A representative from Landmark Aviation shall monitor the gate until relieved • Staging Officer will be assigned here
Gate-12 • Parking at gate-12 for: • Red Cross • Moulage • Victims • Observers • Evaluators • Designated Gold Coat Ambassador’s • All other volunteers • All personnel check in at Red Cross table • Tent & latrines provided for relief

Treatment/Triage Area • All personnel utilize START Triage procedures • Treatment-Stabilization Area • The Incident Commander shall designate a Treatment and Stabilization area. Physicians, nurses, EMT-B’s, EMT-I’s, Paramedics and first-aid personnel can treat and stabilize injured victims before transportation to area hospitals. • Uninjured victims • Uninjured victims shall be removed from the accident site to a location on the airport for observation before being released. Psychologically injured victims shall be removed from the accident site to a location on the airport where crisis counselors and airline-involved personnel can offer counseling.
USCG • U.S. Coast Guard shall • Respond and assist with duties as needed by the Incident Commander • If the aircraft has gone into the water the USCG will initiate rescue and transfer injured person (s) to the shore for care
