  1. Do Now • Write at least two things that you think goes into the Background/Introduction section of a lab report?

  2. Paraphrasing • The elephant is the only mammal that cannot jump with all its legs off the ground.

  3. Paraphrasing • Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the king’s horses and all the king’s men, couldn’t put humpty back together again.

  4. Paraphrase 1 • Paraphrase 1: While sitting on a wall one day, an egg had an accident which resulted in tragedy because no one in the kingdom could repair him.

  5. Paraphrase 2 • Paraphrase 2: The kingdom mourned the loss of Humpty because he was broken beyond repair when he fell from the wall.
