The chapter talks about the different philosophy between promoting self-esteem being a positive versus challenging the merit of a “feel-good curriculum.” • Do you think that society has taken the concept of self-esteem to a false level? • Can an overemphasis on self-esteem lead to or increase bullying behaviors in schools?
