WHAT IS WAHHABISM? (a) • Strict radical fundamental form of Islam. • The state religion of Saudi Arabia. • No other religions allowed by law. • Expansionist, unite world under Sharia. [2x-Wahhabism-PP-Slides-LB.PPT]
WHAT IS WAHHABISM? (b) • In their view: Islam superior to all. • Allah’s will -- destroy all infidels. • Allah -- replace our beliefs with theirs, by coercion, subversion, or by force. [2x-Wahhabism-PP-Slides-LB.PPT]
WHAT IS WAHHABISM? (c) • Wahhabism: more dangerous than communism. • Wahhabism: a greater threat than anything else we’ve faced. • They hate our personal freedom and democratic rule -- usurps Allah’s will. [2x-Wahhabism-PP-Slides-LB.PPT]
WHAT IS WAHHABISM? (d) • Wahhabism not universal, it is intolerant of other Islamic forms & other religions. • Wahhabism has been denounced as a minority sect by some Islamic scholars. [2x-Wahhabism-PP-Slides-LB.PPT]
WAHHABI CHARACTERISTICS (a) • Barbaric, brutal; mass murder okay. • Enslaving women and children okay. • Extreme, use of terrorism is okay. • Holy War (Jihad) okay, willed by Allah. • Martyrs -- go directly to paradise. [2x-Wahhabism-PP-Slides-LB.PPT]
WAHABBI CHARACTERISTICS (b) • All non-believers are infidels; hence, Wahabbists are to: Convert them to Islam, Force them to accept dhimmitude, Or, put them to death. • Absolutely no compromise. [2x-Wahhabism-PP-Slides-LB.PPT]
WAHABBI CHARACTERISTICS (c) • Muslims who reject Wahhabism are infidel; okay to wage war against them. • Wahhabism: total intolerance of others. • Saudi Arabia: “police” watch all, such as cell-phone usage & women’s dress. • Women: Covered in public, w/gauze. [2x-Wahhabism-PP-Slides-LB.PPT]

‘WAHHABI CHARACTERISTICS (e) • Wahhabism: political w/some religion. • Women have few rights: No schooling, can’t work, can’t drive. Receive 1/2 inheritance of brothers.
